Writing Workshops with Best-Selling, Award-Winning Author simon van booy
Saturday, June 23, Santa Monica, California
Saturday, June 30, New York City
Simon Van Booy
These intensive, half-day writers' workshops, will cover the habits and conditions needed to develop a writing practice, along with instruction related to plot, character, dialogue, structure, style, pacing, time, and the business of writing/getting published. In these workshops, Simon will also suggest ways to balance writing practice with the demands of everyday life, and suggest ideas to stay focused—as writers rarely work under ideal conditions.
The goal of these workshops is for each participant to complete the course with greater confidence in her/his own writing voice, and to have fresh ideas on how to overcome technical issues within a writing practice. These workshops will include a little writing time, but will mostly concentrate on helping writers find their own ways.
This course is open to both beginners, and more experienced writers, who may or may not already be working on a manuscript. For more details, write to Delphine at: firstname.lastname@example.org or simply click below.
